Perlence is a software product studio. We build enterprise software and our own products — bringing AI to bear where it earns its place, and building trust in from the start.
We started Perlence because too much software that calls itself intelligent isn't built to be relied on. It demos beautifully, then falls over the moment real people arrive.
We believe intelligence — in software, and in AI — should be modular: composable, legible pieces you can trust and assemble, not black boxes nobody can reason about. That belief, "Modular Intelligence, Unlocked," is the whole point of the company.
We're not an AI company chasing the frontier for its own sake. We're a software company that happens to be very good at AI — and disciplined about when to use it.

The measure of our work is software in people's hands that holds up — not a slide, a prototype, or a launch tweet. We optimise for the version that's still working a year later.
Use what we build
We run our own products, like PhraseKit, in production. We live with the pricing, support, and engineering trade-offs we'd ask any client to make — so our advice is earned, not theoretical.
Sweat the unglamorous
Reliability, latency, migrations, the error nobody sees — this is where trust is won or lost. We do the boring work well, because it's the work that matters after launch day.
Trust is a feature
We design so user data isn't a liability: nothing stored we don't need, no middleman to trust. Privacy is a property of the architecture, not a line in a policy.
AI where it earns its place
We're deeply AI-fluent, and deeply unsentimental about it. We reach for a model when it solves a real problem for real people — and we say so plainly when the right answer is boring, reliable software.
